This Week's Video: chicharones

This week's video is short and sweet. Jonny takes pig skins and fries them off in hot oil to make chicharones, or pork rinds as they're labeled at snack stores. We served chicharones on our maitake mushroom citrus salad in NYC, and it was one of our favorite dishes.

Many thanks to Sweet Deliverance for hosting our second visit of the year. We were lucky to be able to offer three dinners in their Brooklyn kitchen. Thanks to all who helped and especially to those who came.

Cyclo-cross Nationals 2012 :: Verona, WI

We sold a lot of food and had tons of fun checking out the 2012 Cyclo-cross championships in Verona last weekend. The word is next year's national championship will be at Badger Prairie Park again. Looking forward to it, crazy-warm weather or not.
